Sandy is a multi-faceted creative-preneur in the global brand world.
The 20 years of experience gave her a passion for the work she’s doing today: serving the international marketing community wholeheartedly.
She spent her career to date, building brands both from an agency and a consultancy perspective. She has been lucky enough to work with the bests of the marketing world – best brands and best people – Unilever, Coca-Cola, Bayer, Mercedes Benz, Vodafone, Coty, Jim Stengel, David Shing and Afdhel Aziz to name a few. In her previous position, she was honored to act as a leader at Idea Bakery, where she spent the past 8 years as an Idea Master Chef, consulting and training the top executives of our era.
She has extensive experience in the MENAT region, partnering with brands like Savola Corporate, Goody, Majid Al Futtaim, Chalhoub, Panda, Nahdi, KAEC and government entities like PIF, Saudi Tourism Authority, SAMF and DARP.
She wears two professional hats and divides her time equally: Consulting an array of companies from blue-chip to startups, and building capabilities through designing and delivering trainings.
Today, Sandy is the co-founder and CEO of Heartfulbrands, empowering C level executives to humanize their brands through creative strategies and capture hearts.
She is also an independent consultant and trainer at the GMP Strategy and Consultancy Company, as part of finest collective of senior advisors with 150+ combined years of experience.
Going back to her early years, Sandy was literally “born” inside an advertising agency: Her grandfather was the founder of one of the first agencies of Turkey in 1944, which set the foundations of the globally acquainted Mullen Lowe today.
After having graduated from the world-famous College du Leman in Geneva with the DNA of advertising in her veins, Sandy studied Marketing and Psychology, at Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland. Well, that also means that she speaks French, English as well as being a native Turkish speaker.
Sandy worked as Client Services Director for different international and local agencies handling a wide range of brands. At early stages in her working life, she discovered her passion for strategic thinking and made it a personal mission to create an added value to every brand she worked with. From discovering what truly lies in the hearts and minds of consumers to training future business leaders, she got herself involved in all stages of building successful brands and people. A passionate supporter of young talent, Sandy is the mastermind behind the Next Powerbrands Festival Markathon, an associate of Cannes Lions Young Marketers Academy and a sought-after keynote speaker at several young-marketer symposiums and events. She also writes a column about the brand world in Harvard Business Review Turkey every other week.
Sandy is married with 2 daughters; Talia and Mira and her heart beats for contemporary art & rescue animals. She is obsessed with adding a creative sparkle to everything she touches.
Sandy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Psychology from the Webster University in Geneva.
