Joëlle is a passionate, creative, and innovative communication executive and storyteller with 33 years of global experience in retail and top-tier advertising agencies with 10 years in the UAE.
Joëlle is a seasoned brand storyteller who grows brands using a combination of creativity, media and technology, to create engagement and generate positive results.
Most recently Joëlle was Deputy Managing Director at multi award-winning Leo Burnett, one of the leading advertising and communication agency in the world. She was also Managing Director for Jordan and Iraq from 2008 to 2017. Joelle headed up communications for McDonald’s, Bel, and other global accounts to name a few.
During her long and loyal tenure to advertising Joelle has held several senior roles at global agencies including Saachi & Saachi, Fortune Promoseven, D’Arcy and Weber Shandwick driving forward their multi-market transformations, innovation, and change management, overseeing communication and key accounts such as Coca Cola, La Roche, and Abbott to name a few.
Earlier on in her career Joëlle was given the opportunity to set up and manage BTL-IMP in Lebanon, Jordan & Syria responsible for shoppers’ marketing & public relations for P&G, Uncle Ben’s, and Hitachi, to state a few.
Joëlle is also a mentor in Concordia University and Dubai’s chapter of the Marketing Society inspiring talent to meet their ambitions and aspirations.
In her free time, Joelle volunteers across different NGOs & non-for-profit organisations such the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon, the UNDP, and the ArtReach Foundation.
