Almira is a passionate, innovative, and results-driven retail executive with over 25 years of experience working in global fashion and apparel brands in the UAE, Canada and the US. She is a champion of change and has the ability to re-engineer organisational functions, resources, processes and systems to boost efficiency levels. Almira has Credible history of leveraging strong communication, negotiation, problem solving and decision-making to forge and nurture professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels and to drive long-term business growth.

Almira joins Gedeon Mohr & Partners to bring real-world solutions to the fashion and apparel industry and to help clients and brands solve market, sales and operational challenges.

Most recently Almira was General Manager for GUESS in the MENA, where she led the successful acquisition of 42 stores in the region from Al Futtaim to the Chalhoub Group in the UAE, KSA, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain. Almira successfully transitioned the brand, driving desirability, awareness and therefore increasing the brand’s profitability.

Prior to that Almira worked in senior roles in Canada and the US at top-tier brands including Roots, Holt Renfrew and GUESS to name a few.

Almira is married and has two beautiful girls, loves food and travel and is a country collector who has been to over 58 countries to date. She is inspiring, risk-taking, loyal, and caring and brings positive energy everywhere she goes.
